ICN Health Equity was developed as a result of the ICN strategic plan’s overarching goal to promote academic-practice partnerships to optimize the current and future nursing workforce. This committee works to invest “fully in strengthening and diversifying the nursing workforce so that it is sufficiently prepared to promote health and appropriately relfect the people and communities we serve” (National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. 2021)
